Calgary airport car rental is one of the largest airport intents in the set. The field is north of downtown. People land and either work in the city or point the car toward the foothills.
This page will not invent a terminal map. It will tell you to separate the arrival hour from a Banff plan. Winter daylight and a chinook ice patch are not solved by enthusiasm.

Into the city
Leaving the airport is its own drive.
Downtown is a freeway drive south, not a walk. Industrial parks in the northeast are a different exit from a hotel in the beltline. Say which one you mean when a request exists.
A same-day mountain run is a vehicle decision and a fatigue decision. Read the city page before you treat YYC as a park gate.

Choose for the luggage and the next road.
City-only stays can be a midsize car. Mountain and winter stays should look at SUVs. One-way toward Edmonton is a request on the one-way page, not a departure board.
Before you book
Questions worth asking a provider.
Ask whether the car is collected at a terminal desk, in a garage attached to the terminal, or at a lot that needs a shuttle. Ask what happens if the flight is late, whether the pickup window can move, and what documents the driver must show.
Ask how fuel is handled, whether mileage is limited, whether an extra driver can be added, and what the company means by its protection options. Those answers belong to the company you choose. Ebomim does not run a desk at this airport.
