Driver requirements
The person who drives should be the person the agreement names. Everything else is a condition to confirm, not a rule this site can mint.
Licence
A valid licence is the starting point.
Suppliers commonly expect a full licence held for a period they define, in a name that matches the renter. A learner’s permit is not a plan this page will encourage. International visitors often need the licence they drive on at home, and sometimes an additional permit, depending on the country and the length of the stay. Ask the company before you travel. A list printed here would go stale.
Licence class matters once the vehicle grows. A light car and a heavy truck are not the same credential. If you are looking at truck rental or a large passenger van, raise the licence class before you raise the seat count.
Additional drivers
Name them at the beginning.
An additional driver is a named person on the agreement, not a friend who takes the keys at a rest stop. Couples, colleagues, and parents swapping a long highway are the ordinary cases. Whether a supplier charges for that, or refuses it, is their condition. No fee is listed here.
Age interacts with this. If either driver may be under 25, read young drivers and state the ages honestly.
Geography
Provinces and borders.
Driving from one Canadian province into another is normal travel and still worth mentioning if the rental is one-way or long. Leaving Canada is a further step. Assume a cross-border drive needs explicit permission from whoever eventually rents you the car, plus whatever documents the border requires. This website does not grant that permission and does not advise on immigration or customs.
Fines, tolls, and photo radar are the driver’s responsibility on the road. Ebomim is not a party to those events and has no account with a toll authority.

Can someone else drive if I am tired?
Only if they are an authorised driver on the agreement.
Are foreign licences accepted?
Unknown as a blanket rule. Carry the licence you are entitled to use and confirm with a supplier.
Does Ebomim check my driving record?
No. This site does not access driving records.
