FAQ
Short answers to the questions that otherwise produce thin extra pages.
Start
If the question is “what car,” start at car rental and the class pages. If it is “which streets,” open a city. If it is “which flight,” open an airport. The answers below are the ones that are easy to misunderstand.
In practice
Start with the job, not the adjective. A move is a van or a truck. A winter highway is often an SUV. A downtown week with one bag is often a smaller car. A flight is an airport page. A month is the long-term page. Mixing those into one search phrase is how people arrive on the wrong guide and think the site has hidden the price. The price is not hidden. It was never published.
City pages and airport pages are a pair, not substitutes. Pearson is not downtown Toronto, YVR is not Robson Street, and Trudeau is not the old port. Read the arrival first if you are still in the air, and the city if you are deciding how the days will actually be spent. One-way trips need both ends named, or the request is only half a route.
Young drivers, extra drivers, mileage, and protection are the four subjects that most often surprise people after they have already chosen a colour of car. They each have a page because folding them into every city article would either repeat a national rule badly or invent a local one. Read them once. They apply across the country until a real supplier states a narrower condition.
