Vancouver’s airport is on Sea Island, south of downtown, closer to Richmond than to a hotel on Robson. YVR is this airport.
Cheap airport modifiers are common. They do not create a second page or a price. Rain is the ordinary leaving condition. A mountain drive the same evening is how people start a trip already behind.

Into the city
Leaving the airport is its own drive.
You cross a bridge and then choose: downtown, the North Shore, Richmond and the south, or eventually the highway north. Read Vancouver for the city and Surrey if that is the actual base.
A ferry with a car is a separate schedule. This page does not book it.
Vehicle
Choose for the luggage and the next road.
A compact car is enough for a city hotel and painful if tomorrow is a ski road. An SUV is the more honest mountain choice. Electric is reasonable if you are not immediately climbing out of cell service without a charger.
Groups should look at passenger vans only if a driver is comfortable with the size on a wet bridge.
Before you book
Questions worth asking a provider.
Ask whether the car is collected at a terminal desk, in a garage attached to the terminal, or at a lot that needs a shuttle. Ask what happens if the flight is late, whether the pickup window can move, and what documents the driver must show.
Ask how fuel is handled, whether mileage is limited, whether an extra driver can be added, and what the company means by its protection options. Those answers belong to the company you choose. Ebomim does not run a desk at this airport.
