Cookie policy

Ebomim does not run advertising cookies. Accept or Decline stores one local preference and nothing else.

What runs

What this site actually stores.

The notice offers Accept and Decline. Either choice writes a local storage item named ebomim-cookie with the value accepted or declined. Local storage is not a cookie, but it is the same kind of browser memory people ask about in a cookie policy, so it is described here. The item only remembers that choice. It is not tied to an advertising profile, and Decline does not enable a different tracker.

The pages do not set analytics cookies, retargeting cookies, or third-party media cookies, and they do not load an analytics or advertising script. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from a font or image CDN at the moment you read the page.

Submitting the contact form does not set a cookie. The form sends the name, email, topic, and message you typed so the server can try to email them. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected] or by phone at +1 (780) 835-6133.

Host

What a host might do.

A hosting panel or security service in front of the site might set a technical cookie of its own, for example to balance load or to challenge abusive traffic. That would be the host’s cookie, and it is not added by the Ebomim page scripts. If such a service is enabled later, this policy should name it.

Server logs are covered in the privacy policy. They are not cookies, and they can still contain an IP address.

Control

How to remove the preference.

Clear site data for this host in your browser and the notice can appear again. Blocking local storage does not block the articles. The site remains readable.

Browsers also let you block cookies globally. Because the preference is local storage rather than a cookie, a cookie blocker alone may not remove it. Clearing site data does.

In practice

What this policy is not

This is not a consent banner for a network of advertisers. There is no advertising network on the page. Dismissing the note does not opt you into profiling, and leaving the note up does not opt you out of a tracker that is not there. The only preference Ebomim writes is the local storage flag that hides the note.

If a future version of the site adds measurement, the cookie policy has to change in the same release. The text you are reading matches an informational site with a trip planner and a contact form that emails a question. The pages do not load analytics or advertising scripts. The form does not set a cookie. Privacy questions can go to [email protected], to +1 (780) 835-6133, or through the contact form.

Browser controls remain yours. Blocking scripts will disable the menu toggle, the form checks, and the motion. The articles themselves are in the HTML and can still be read. That split is deliberate: the rental guidance does not depend on the preference flag.

Questions

Before you decide

Do you track me across other websites?

No.

Does Accept turn on advertising?

No. Accept and Decline only hide the notice and store that choice.

Do embedded videos set cookies?

There are no embedded video players.

Where is the broader privacy explanation?

On the privacy policy page.

Note the place and the dates.

The planner records a pickup, a return, and an optional vehicle class. Ebomim does not reserve a car or publish a rate.
