Kelowna airport car rental is a regional arrival, smaller than YVR and more local than a Vancouver page can honestly be. You are in the Okanagan, not on Sea Island.

Into the city
Leaving the airport is its own drive.
The city and the lake bridge are close. Vernon, Penticton, or a highway west are not the same first hour. If Vancouver is the end of the trip, read one-way and treat the route as unconfirmed.
Do not stack a wine itinerary onto a late arrival.
Vehicle
Choose for the luggage and the next road.
A smaller car fits a city-and-lake week in fair weather. An SUV fits winter highway or a loaded family. The driver still has to be the one who should drive after any tasting.
Before you book
Questions worth asking a provider.
Ask whether the car is collected at a terminal desk, in a garage attached to the terminal, or at a lot that needs a shuttle. Ask what happens if the flight is late, whether the pickup window can move, and what documents the driver must show.
Ask how fuel is handled, whether mileage is limited, whether an extra driver can be added, and what the company means by its protection options. Those answers belong to the company you choose. Ebomim does not run a desk at this airport.
